The co-creator of the new board-breaking holder Matt Friar, 3rd Dan TAGB Tae Kwon-Do instructor says: “Being a Martial Arts Student for many years and now a Tae Kwon-Do instructor it had always intrigued me as to why there wasn’t a light weight, free standing and easily portable ‘breaking horse’ in the market place. The traditional wooden horses are very heavy and difficult to transport for instructors who don’t have academies and/or schools.
Therefore to suit my needs and those of instructors/students worldwide I have, in conjunction with Teale Services designed and constructed the ‘Trojan Power Horse’. This is the perfect lightweight yet sturdy, portable board breaking training aid.” You can find detailed information on the Trojan Power Horse range here at our web site or you can purchase by visiting the mail order page.
Pontefract Tae Kwon Do Club celebrated a triple grading success, when students Kyle Knight and Darren Teale successfully passed their 1st Dan Grading at the April Black Belt grading in Bristol. The students where judged by a panel of six 8th Dan masters.
Also grading was instructor Matt Friar who successfully passed his 3rd Dan grading
